What to Expect?

Over the last few years we have taken a group of youth from our church to Newday alongside other churches we are connected with. We have seen young people grow in their faith, encounter Jesus and deepen their relationships with each other. Here is what a typical day looks like at Newday:

9.45-11.15am Separate morning meetings for 12-13s and 14-18s

11.30am-12.30pm Seminars on a wide range of topics, with more info released nearer the event

1.00pm-5.30pm Cafes and concourse open and sports competitions run

7.00pm-9.00pm Evening meeting (all ages)

9.00pm-11.00pm Cafes open, live music, evening events

What is Newday?

Newday is one of the largest Christian events for young people that takes place in the UK every year. Thousands of young people aged 12-18 descend on Norfolk Showground, near Norwich to join hundreds of churches from all over the UK and Europe to learn about and worship God, camp out together and soak in the summer festival feeling, leaving Newday further along in their relationship with Jesus.

    Cost

    The total cost to send a child to Newday is £300. We ask where possible that each family contributes £5 per child to confirm their place. Beacon will kindly cover the rest of the cost. Included in the price is the ticket, travel, all meals and equipment hire such as cooking facilities and tents. If you able to donate more than £5 per head to bless this work, we would be very grateful.
